Introduction

Maharashtra Medical Goods Authority (MMGPA) is established by MMGPA Act, dated 17th March 2023. MMGPA act has been established to make special provisions for ensuring single point procurement of certain medical goods and execution of turnkey projects with highest standards of transparency, fairness and equity. It has been aimed for timely supply of Medical Goods at optimum and uniform rates of desired quality for health institutions under the State Government. MMGPA is empowered to procure goods for certain other institutions also, if they so request through the Maharashtra Medical Goods Procurement Authority.
